About South Chicago Lighting Partners
Locally owned, nationally backed. Serving Chicago South and Southwest Suburbs with professional holiday and permanent lighting.
Our Story
The South Chicago Lighting Partners team has been working on properties along the I-355 and I-80 corridors for years. From the brick estates of Hinsdale and Burr Ridge to the new construction in Frankfort and Homer Glen, our crews know the south and southwest Chicago suburbs cold. We grew up here. We drive these same streets every day. Every install is handled by trained, W-2 employees who treat your roof the way they would treat their own.
As part of the Lighting Partners franchise network, we bring national-level supply chain, training systems, and commercial-grade equipment to every job. As a locally owned and operated business, the team that quotes your property is the same team that shows up on install day and answers the phone when something needs attention mid-season.
A wealthy and growing suburban corridor stretching from the I-355 commercial belt through the established estate towns of Hinsdale, Burr Ridge, and Western Springs, into the family neighborhoods of Orland Park, Tinley Park, Frankfort, and Mokena, and out to the new builds in Homer Glen and Naperville. Strong demand from commercial property managers along I-355 and I-80, plus serious sports fan culture across Bears, Cubs, White Sox, and Blackhawks territory.
Our Commitment to Chicago South and Southwest Suburbs
South Chicago Lighting Partners was founded on a simple idea: exterior lighting -- whether for the holidays or year-round -- should be handled by professionals who treat your property with the same care they would give their own.
We invest in commercial-grade materials because cheap lights look cheap. We invest in trained installation crews because sloppy installs show. And we invest in customer service because the best advertising is a neighbor asking who did your lights.
Being part of the Lighting Partners franchise network means we have the support of an established brand, proven systems, and industry-best purchasing power -- while remaining a locally owned business that answers the phone and knows your neighborhood.
We serve Orland Park, Tinley Park, Frankfort, Mokena, Homer Glen, and the surrounding Illinois communities. If you are in our service area, we want to earn your business.

Questions About Our Team & Services
- We cover the southern and southwestern portion of the Chicago metro including Orland Park, Tinley Park, Frankfort, Mokena, Homer Glen, Palos Heights, Palos Park, Burr Ridge, Hinsdale, Western Springs, La Grange, Lemont, Lockport, and southern Naperville. That spans southern Cook County, Will County, and the southern part of DuPage County. We do not serve the city of Chicago itself or the north shore. If you are not sure your zip is in our area, call us and we will check.
- Cold wind off Lake Michigan, heavy snow loads, and mid-winter ice storms are the three things we plan around. We install the bulk of our jobs October through early December before the worst weather arrives. Every clip, wire, and bulb we use is commercial grade and rated for snow and ice. If a storm knocks something loose during the season, our in-season service calls cover it at no charge.
- Two things. First, we use clip systems that grip the fascia or roof edge under load instead of staples or hot glue that pop off under ice weight. Second, we run a proactive sweep after major weather events. If we get a serious ice storm in your area, our crew is on the road the next morning checking client properties without waiting for a call. Cheap installers disappear after install day. We do not.
- Yes. Permanent LED lighting is fully programmable from a smartphone app. You can run Bears navy and orange on game day, Cubs blue and red through the season, White Sox black and silver, or Blackhawks red and white whenever you want. Most clients use warm white as their daily setting and switch into team colors for game days, holidays, or family events. It is one of the most popular reasons people in the south suburbs choose permanent over seasonal.
- Property scale and architecture. The north shore has a lot of older, tight-lot urban housing stock and east-facing lake exposure. The south and southwest have larger lots, more new construction, longer rooflines, and wider visibility from the street. That means we design for distance and scale on this side. Outlines need to read clearly from forty or fifty feet back, tree wraps need to anchor the lot, and commercial properties along I-355 and I-80 need to be visible from the highway. It is a different design challenge and we know it.
