Serving Hinsdale
Drive time from our Orland Park base: roughly 25-30 minutes northwest. Hinsdale is on our northwest route with Burr Ridge, Western Springs, and La Grange and gets dedicated route weeks in season.
Complex elevations are the whole job here. A Hinsdale estate front elevation frequently has half a dozen separate roof planes at different heights, plus dormers, a wrapped porch or portico, and a garage wing on its own line. Every run gets measured, cut, and terminated individually, and the transitions between planes are exactly where an install either reads as deliberate or reads as rushed. On these houses the detail work at the transitions is the difference between good and excellent, and it is why we walk the property before quoting a number.
Historic and new construction need different attachment plans. Hinsdale has genuine historic housing stock - original woodwork, slate roof sections, period trim - alongside newer estate builds with stone veneer, cast columns, and detailed millwork. Nothing gets stapled, nailed, or glued to any of it. Attachment is all-clip and matched to the material, and where a surface should not carry a fastener we route to the gutter line or fascia and explain why. On slate we do not traverse or fasten the way we would on asphalt.
Ice-storm construction. Tightened clip spacing, runs cut to minimize unsupported spans, sealed connections, commercial-grade product. Ice is heavy and it grabs, and on a large estate elevation there is a lot of run to fail if it is installed loosely.
Full-property design. Long approaches, coach houses, detached garages, gate structures, specimen trees, and formal landscaping. The design starts with where the property first becomes visible from the street and what the elevation reads like at distance.
Takedown and storage included. January into February.

Permanent lighting on a Hinsdale estate
Four arguments, and on a property this size they compound.
The elevation deserves to be visible year-round. These houses were designed to be looked at, and it is dark by 4:30pm from November through February. Warm white as the standing setting means the architecture reads on an ordinary Tuesday in January, not just in December.
Roof traffic. On a historic Hinsdale home with slate or original material, a seasonal install means people on the roof twice a year, forever. Permanent is one careful install and nobody up there again.
Scale. A multi-structure estate is a large seasonal install every year. Permanent converts it to a one-time build, and every structure matches every year, permanently.
Control, including team colors. Warm white as the everyday look, then Bears navy on a Sunday or school colors for a graduation, changed from a phone. On an estate that hosts, that flexibility gets used far more than people expect.
