Drive time from our Orland Park base: roughly 15-25 minutes southwest. These three communities sit on the same route for us and get scheduled coverage together.
Property, not just house. A lot of properties out here have acreage - long drives, pole barns, detached garages, outbuildings, and mature trees between the road and the house. That changes where the design starts: with the approach and the sightline. Where does the property first become visible? What does the elevation read like from the end of the drive? On a larger lot, drive-line lighting, outbuilding runs, and tree uplighting frequently do as much for the overall effect as another roofline run, and sometimes more.
New construction with busy elevations. Homer Glen in particular has substantial newer housing with multiple gables, dormers, garage wings at their own height, and stone veneer across the front. Measured and cut on-site, run by run, with the plane transitions planned deliberately.
Historic Lemont is different. Lemont's older village core and limestone buildings need material-first attachment - nothing stapled, nailed, or glued into original masonry or period trim, with runs routed to gutter line or fascia where a surface should not carry a fastener.
Open-prairie wind and ice. The wind comes across open farmland with little to slow it, and December through February brings heavy snow and ice storms. Tightened clip spacing, runs cut to minimize unsupported spans, sealed connections, commercial-grade LED and ice-rated clips throughout.
No holes in stone. All-clip attachment to shingle, gutter, and fascia only.
Takedown and storage included. January into February, house and outbuildings both.

Permanent lighting on a larger property
The approach argument. On a property set back behind trees and a long drive, a permanent LED roofline gives the house a defined edge every night of the year - instead of being a dark shape at the end of the driveway on a February evening. Add permanent drive-line and tree lighting and the whole approach works year-round, not for six weeks.
The ladder argument, which is bigger out here. On a large property, a ladder means reaching over landscaping, uneven ground, and sometimes a second story on a walkout grade. Add outbuildings and a pole barn and a seasonal install is a genuinely substantial annual job. Permanent is one build, and then nobody does it again.
And it gets used. Bears navy on a Sunday, school colors for a game, orange in October, warm white the rest of the time. From your phone.
